Wonder,

The thundering of a Perfect Mind

A station amongst the Flames!

My Heart is but the Mirror

To the infinite forms of my Mother

The manifestations of the Tree of Life

The Tree of Reality!

The Radiance of my Daughter

The Stature of Roya

The Emerald Eyes of Narges

An icon of Mary

The figure of Kālī

Fāṭima’s Green Veil!

I am but the Adam of the lieges of Love (fedeli d’amore)

In the path of the Eternal Eve

Where unitarianism (tawḥīd) and idolatry (shirk) are same.

For wheresoever I turn,

There is Her Face!

So I say, there is no other divinity but Her (lā ilāha illā hīya)

As neither a muslim nor an idolater am I

For wheresoever Her Light may Dawn from Pre-Eternity

Illuminating the Talismanic-Tablets of Unicity

There is my creed

My Eternal Beloved

The Greatest Name!

*A poem inspired by Ibn ʿArabī’s famous poem in the Interpretor of Desire (tarjumān al-ashwāq) speaking to a current ḥāl (state) upon a constant recitation as a mantra of the Prophet Muḥammad's (ص) prayer, "O God, show us the realities of things as they truly are!" 

 اللهمّ أرنا حقائق الأشياء كما هي

 

يا عجبًا رعدًا مِن عقلٍ كاملٍ

ومقام بين النيران

فؤادي ما هو إلّا مرآة لِأشكال اُمّي اللامتناهية

مظاهر شجرة الحياة الشّجرة الحقيقة

 

إشراق ابنتي و مكانة الرؤيا و عيون الزمرد للنرجس

أيقونة المريم وتمثال الكالي وحجاب فاطمة الأخضر

 

أنا ما هو إلّا آدم مِن المؤمنين بِالحبّ

في صراط الحواء الأبدية

حيث توحيد وشرك متماثلان

فَأَيْنَمَا اتولُّ فَثَمَّ وَجْهُها

 

لذلك أنا أقول لا إله إلّا هي

فَأنا لستُ مسلمًا ولا مُشركًا

لِانه اينما طلعة نورها منذ الأزل

واشرق هياكل التوحيد

هناك عقيدتي
