Closing section to the Chapter of Holy War (sūrat'ul-jihād) (99) of the Bāb's Commentary on the Sūrah of Joseph, the Peerless Self-Subsistent Names (qayyūm al-asmāʾ)

 

 

Say, when the Trumpet sounds that is the Day of the Emergent Eschatological Uprising (yawm al-khurūj), and indeed within the Mother of the Book (umm’ul-kitāb) that is the Day, in Truth upon the Truth, which hath been [already] witnessed! Verily, that is a Day whereupon for the believers in Truth it shall be easy! And, lo, that is a Day wherein for the associators (mushrikīn) without the Truth it shall be severe! Say, behold God’s most great torment on the Day of the Separation (yawm al-faṣl), for verily to them shall be the Fire (al-nār), all of it, upon the Truth in Truth! And God hath prepared over it the Gate (al-bāb), in Truth upon the Truth, nineteen! O Angels of the Fire, make those associators taste the fruit of the Fire from the tree of the Fire, for God hath not determined for them any salvation (najā) nor escape from it, upon the Truth in Truth, forever and ever! And, verily, to Thee belongs legions of angels, in Truth; and indeed the Truth revolves around the Final Eschatological War (al-ḥarb) which indeed, in Truth upon the Truth, hath been [already] witnessed!
