You cannot claim to love the
Light (نور) if you have no idea what the darkness (ظُلمة) or fire (نار) is and, first, resist it as
you absorb the Light and then marshal this Light to absorb the darkness as well
(Jung doesn't quite explain this process and dynamic very well because he nor
his acolytes actually understood the process themselves properly). There is
indeed a dialectic at play in the dramaturgy of life in this spatiotemporal
universe whose Synthesis and resolution is already-always God. But where you
stand in this dialectic determines everything; and anyone who asserts
differently, has not understood anything. Perhaps this is yet another
underlying reason for the contemporary explosion of mental illness in our times
because people have become confused about the basics and have lost sight of
fundamental boundaries between Good and evil. Contrary to the molly-cuddled and
nonsensically hypocritical pseudo-ethics taught by mainstream Western
Christianity and its secular Liberal offshoot (all of which Nietzsche
rightfully lambasted against as being the slave morality and which has been
normalized by the New Age as well: a pseudo-ethics that is more of a reflection
of the duplicitous value systems of the middle and ruling classes of the West
who say one thing and do another); in fact as the Avesta, Matthew 23 of the
synoptic Gospels, a few of the Gnostic gospels, the Qurān, Shi'i hadith and the
Bayān all teach, hatred of inversion and its representatives in the world
possesses supreme virtue and is a Manifestation of Love. Cursing inversion and
its representatives as a ritual act is therefore a high act of faith. In other
words, there is such a thing as metaphysical hatred and there is deep abiding
virtue in its practice. To quote the Apocryphon of James (Nag Hammadi library)
<http://gnosis.org/naghamm/jam.html>:
Come to
hate hypocrisy and the evil thought; for it is the thought which gives birth to
hypocrisy; but hypocrisy is far from truth.
-- The
Apocryphon of James
In Shi'ism hatred and Love form
the twin pillars of the praxis of Tabarrā (disassociation/disavowal) and
Tawallā (Love/fidelity to the Imām) which itself is a manifestation of the
secret of the tahlīl (i.e. the testimony to the divine unity, or saying 'there
is no god but God'). Tabarrā represents the repulsion of the
acosmic ignorance and its negation (نفيّ) and is the manifestation of the reality
of the phrase of negation "there is no god" whereas Tawallā is the absorption of the
Light of the Hiero-Intelligence/Nexal Consciousness (عقل) which is the Manifestation of the phrase
of Affirmation (إثبات) "except/other than God". Together these two phrases form the
tahlīl that indicates the Mystery of Tawḥīd (the divine unicity).
As such whosoever says that
hatred is unspiritual has not understood the Spirit. The issue is not whether
hatred is unspiritual, because it is extremely spiritual. The issue is always
the object of this hatred and the reasons therein, and this subtlety and nuance
becomes the difference between Love and its negation!
O God, curse the people of Hot Air and their founder, the false idol, with vengeance and fury; and bless, O God, the Primal Point, His Guides of the Living, His Pre-Eternal Mirror and those who believe in Them with exaltedness and majesty!
