…they should take their marriages and unions seriously, and not as a plaything, and as part and parcel of the journey and wayfaring towards God, to such an extent that a wife constantly beholds her husband as the pure mirror to the realities of God and a husband beholds his wife as the manifestation of the perfection of the realities of God because such is the substance of true endearing passion, love and attachment, and the most luminous, most mighty attainment in this Valley of gnosis…~ The Persian Bayān, gate 19, Unity 13

ازدواج و اقترانات خود را جدّى بگیرند و نه به بازى و آن را جزوى و بخشى از سير و سلوك إلى الله تا حدّ مقصدى كه زن شوهر خود را دائم بِعنوان مرآت بحت حقائق الله بِبيند و شوهر زن خود را دائم بِعنوان مظهر كمال حقائق الله چون این است جوهر عشق و محبّت و موّدت حقيقى و فوز أنور أعظم در اين وادى معرفت
