Esoteric exegesis (tawil) on the meaning of Ḥaydar
786/303
Praise be unto God Who is called the Living and grants ease after hardship to Its devout servants and sincere gnostics. It is the Judge who decrees the existence of the loci of the essences through Its theophanic self-disclosures so that they may realize that there is no deity but It, the Lord of the worlds!

I have a question related to the name of Imām ꜤAlī (ع) حيدر
Do you have a tawīl for this name Fāṭima bint Asad (ع) gave to her son Imām ꜤAlī (ع) "Ḥaydar" ? What would be the significance of its letters ?

My answer: First, in abjad حيدر Ḥaydar is 222 which is equivalent to موصوف (described/attributed). Thus this establishes the quality attributed to Him, for He was lion-like from birth: noble, regal, fierce and majestic, all at the same time. But to go deeper, the letter ح refers to the Name الحيّ (al-ḥayy the Living).
The ي refers to يُسر (yusr ease) and thus to the ayatān (two verses of) 94:5-6 because none but ꜤAlī (ع) and Fāṭima (ع) brought ease after hardship to the Prophet (ص). In other words, They were His Divine Mirrors to His ease from Above: the first referring to Fāṭima (ع),
For verily with hardship comes ease!
and the second to ꜤAlī (ع),
Indeed with hardship comes ease!
The د refers to the Name الدّيّان (ad-dayyān the Judge) because He is the adjudicating judge of the Divine Imperative (أمر) as He alludes in a famous ḥadīth:
I am the one whom God established under the [luminous] shade and called them to obey Me!
Finally, ر refers to الرّبّ (ar-rabb the Lord). This is my tawīl of Ḥaydar.
