Prayer for Iran
In the Name of the
Lord of Justice and Wisdom!
O Lord of souls and Radiance
of shadowed hearts! O Creator of earth and heaven, and the Hidden One beyond
all veils! I call upon Thee from the depths of burning sorrow and the sighs of
the soul! By the Name which was concealed within the curtain of the Throne from
all eternity - and when Thy Will unveiled it, all creation trembled in awe!
O Lord of
Iran, the land once adorned by Thy Manifestation and illumined with Thy Guiding
Light! Now is shrouded in the darkness of ignorance, turmoil and war, and
wounds without number have crushed the body of this nation!
O my God! By
the sanctity of that sigh of the oppressed that rose at midnight to Thy highest
heaven! By the blood of the martyr spilled in the alleyways of the homeland! By
the tears of the mothers, the cries of the daughters, and the silence of the
fathers! Send Thy mercy upon Iran and its people, and bind the tyrants in the
shadows of their own deeds!
O Lord of
Justice, grant courage to the wronged and patience as steadfast as mountains! Break
the chains of oppression, and let the song of freedom echo from the east to the
west of this soil!
O Master of
the Day of Judgment, guide the youth of this land with Thy Light, and awaken
those lost in tyranny and corruption with the dawn of Thy guidance!
And may the
curse of God fall upon the tyrannical mullahs and the bloodthirsty Zionists, who
have defiled the earth with injustice and turned Thy servants away from Thy
remembrance!

نام خداوند داد و خرد
ای خداوند جان‌ها
و روشنی دل‌های تیره، ای آفریدگار زمین و آسمان و پنهانِ
پنهانان، تو را می‌خوانم از ژرفای سوز دل و آه
جان، به نامی که از ازل در پردهٔ عرش مخفی بود
و چون مشیّت تو ظاهر گشت، همهٔ کائنات از هیبتش بلرزید. ای
پروردگار ایران، کشوری که به ظهور تو مزین گشت و با انوار هدایتت روشن شد، اکنون، ظلمتِ جهل و طغیان و جنگ بر آن
سایه افکنده، و زخم‌های فراوان، پیکر این ملت را در هم شکسته. پروردگارا! به
حرمت آن آه مظلوم که در دل شب بر عرش بلند برخاست، و
به خون آن شهید که در کوچه‌های وطن بر زمین ریخت، و
به اشک مادران و فریاد دختران و خاموشی پدران، بر
ایران و ایرانیان رحمت فرست و ستمگران را در ظلمتِ اعمال‌شان گرفتار کن. ای خداوند داد، دلیری
ده به ستمدیدگان، و صبری که چون کوه بایستند. زنجیرهای
ستم را بگسل، و نغمهٔ آزادی را از شرق تا غرب این خاک طنین انداز. ای مالک یوم
الدّین، جوانان این دیار را به نور خویش راهنما
شو، و آنان را که در ظلم و فساد، مغرور و
غافلند، به نوری از هدایت بیدار کن. و لعنت خدا بر
ملاهای ستمگر و صهیونیست‌های خون‌ریز، که زمین را به ظلم آلوده کردند و بندگان را
از یاد تو بازداشتند!
