Calling Nabil Hamed

 

This young man is Nabil Hamed (a pic of him from 2014): a Lebanese Shi'i scholar who was the main contact between the office of the late Ayatollah Muhammad-Sadiq Rohani, his friend Wissam Nuwayhid, and myself re: the Rohani fatwa. 

 

I have not heard from Nabil in a few years, and emails to him since late last year when Israel launched its blizkrieg against Lebanon and Hezbollah have consistently bounced.

 

He has family here in Australia because he told me so. However, Nabil himself as well as Wissam have dropped out of touch. If anyone is in touch with either of them--I know the Portuguese Shi'i scholar Francisco Jose Luis was at one point--let Nabil know I am seeking him out. He was still in Lebanon, the last I heard. But this was back during the last decade while I was still in Germany.

 

I hope he is alright.
